Mammoth Strategies started as a personal project — one trader trying to systematize what was working in their own futures account. Not academic, not hypothetical. Every strategy released here was first run live, refined across market regimes, and stress-tested through periods where it was clearly not working, not just periods where it was.
The core insight behind all Mammoth strategies is volatility compression — the observable tendency of futures markets to consolidate before expanding. The market coils, and the strategy is built to identify that coil and act on the expansion with precision, not noise.
Over three years of live iteration, the strategy logic has been simplified rather than complicated — fewer conditions, cleaner signals, better behavior across instruments. The current release, MammothExprimo, is the most refined version to date.

Philosophy
What we believe about algorithmic trading.
Less is more.
The best performing versions of every strategy in this library have fewer parameters than their predecessors. Complexity is a liability. A strategy with four conditions that hold up is worth more than twelve that fit the backtest.
Live beats paper.
Every strategy ships after live testing, not just backtesting. Real fills, real slippage, real behavior during news events — these are the things that expose whether a strategy actually works.
Transparency over hype.
There are no equity curves on this site because they are easy to cherry-pick. What you get instead is access to the actual strategy files, version history, and honest update notes when something changes or underperforms.
